Toni has many years experience of providing coaching for a broad range of clients and environments. This, supported by her recognised coaching qualifications, has enabled her to be adept in the art and science of coaching individuals for personal and business growth and development needs.
Each coaching relationship is planned around the specific needs of the client and can range from one session to a suite of sessions over time. Where useful coaching can also incorporate diagnostic and self-awareness tools that Toni is accredited and experienced in. One of these of particular value in a coaching plan is the Strengths Profile tool which can greatly assist clients in understanding how they are feeling about their work, skills and energy levels at any given time and work through what is most useful to them to identify and achieve their personal and career goals.
Training to enhance skills and knowledge whether it be in a face-to-face or remote virtual environment is a vital part of building a meaningful learning pathway. At Positive Tone Learning this often comprises a key element of the solutions offered. This may include:
Bespoke programs
The consultation process will often include designing effective training solutions from scratch for identified skills and knowledge gaps. Each program addresses how positive psychology principles, adult learning best practice and adaptability can best fit with the work demands and priorities of each learner.
Leadership development
Creating empowering face-to-face workshops as part of a comprehensive blended learning pathway for leadership development is a specialty of Positive Tone Learning. Each module pivots around the concept of leader with a small ‘L’ in terms of how we can all be leaders in how we influence others, and how we can apply this on the job. The programs blend interactive group practice of leader-as-coach skills with training around current best practice positive leadership models. They are designed to enhance each participant’s self-awareness and their focus on building a strengths-based approach to leading others.
Short workshops
Positive Tone Learning also offers a range of 90 – 120 minute workshops that address a wide range of people skills. These are ideal for complimenting existing technical training or can be adapted to shorter standalone engaging ‘lunch & learn’ style sessions for any size group.

This training will compliment individual coaching and feedback in areas such as Making Successful Presentations, Dynamic Facilitation Delivery and Train the Trainer capability.
Competency Mapping & Assessment
With the current qualification in Training and Evaluation and comprehensive experience in working with defined competencies in and with Registered Training Organisations, Toni is competent in collaborating on programs that require identifying capability needs, competency mapping and designing evidence-based assessment methods to support existing or new training programs.
Job Preparation Skills
In addition to one-on-one career coaching, Toni also provides group training on key job preparation skills such as Identifying Career Drivers and Anchors, Resume and LinkedIn Profile Writing, Interview Preparation, and Networking Skills.
Toni is a dynamic and engaging group facilitator able to create an interactive, inclusive and fun learning environment for all kinds of learners in groups of all sizes. As well as face to face training these facilitation skills can be applied to varied group activities such as focus groups, ideation or strategy planning sessions and team development.
Toni is also very skilled at developing and delivering engaging interactive sessions for teams with specific focus on aspects such as building quality relationships and team cohesiveness, enhancing communication and stakeholder management, clarifying team purpose and values or just taking a moment out to recharge, have fun and celebrate achievements. These sessions are designed with the specific characteristics of each team in mind and may include scenario planning, games and puzzles, high energy activities and a range of team development tools that she holds accreditation in.
